The images on the left have a shading quality of 1, on the right, shading quality of 5. When the shading quality is turned above 1, it samples the displacement at higher level giving a more accurate image.
The Render tab on an object contains a Shading Quality parameter. This is where you can change the setting. See the attached example file below.
